· Posted 18 Jan I'm having trouble communicating with a CompactLogix L32E processor. There are a pair of photoeyes that are not functioning, and I believe they may be forced on in the program, but I can't get online with the PLC to check. My ABB vendor said I was using the wrong version of RSLogix at first, but now I have tried. When I click the Battery checkbox in the minor faults tab of the CPU the Battery OK light in RSlogix briefly goes red. The battery light is OFF on the front of the CPU and the manual indicates it would be red if there was a problem. So the L32E lost the program with an OK battery. Will wait and see if it loses it again when the PLC is.
